These positions are ideal for Healthcare Professionals that are able to travel within 72 hours notice and who desire to travel strictly to work hard and make a lot of money. Clients that have Fast Response openings are typically experiencing an unforeseen shortage due to a quick increase in census, training on new computer systems, or the opening of a new unit. These positions typically range from 2 to 4 weeks, and often offer 48 hours per week along with higher pay.
These positions are highly desirable and are filled quickly. Unified will set priority in initially contacting our “first response team” when these orders come in.
Typically, Fast Response positions pay higher than travel positions due to the urgent need and short notice which is often a 72 hour window. Many healthcare professionals choose to work in California due to the overtime law which requires payment of time and a half your base pay after eight hours worked per day. Most Fast Response positions offer four twelve hours shifts a week which means you earn 14 hours of overtime each week!
Due to the short-term length of these assignments, free housing will be arranged typically at an Extended Stay or Homewood Suites
If you opt for a rental car, we will arrange for one through Enterprise Rent-a-Car to be ready to drive when you get off of the airplane. We provide complete maps to your housing and we remain on call for you with directions to assist you while you get settled in to your home away from home.
We pay your airfare to and from your assignment or reimburse you $400 if you drive, paid as $200 to come and $200 to return home.
